CEC provides support to clients confronting environmental litigation. Environmental legal issues can be complex, blending science and technology with laws and regulations. CEC staff can assist clients in interpreting regulations and developing quantitative evidence in support of a technical position, and communicating this information to non-technical audiences. Litigation support may include background research on a specific topic, assisting in preparation of material for permits or lawsuits, or providing expert testimony.
CEC staff represent industrial, municipal, and regulatory clients in litigation involving a wide range of environmental issues including regulatory compliance; permitting; source, fate, and transport of microbiological contaminants; and public health risks.
