Region of Halton, Ontario. CEC was part of the value engineering team for the Halton-Oakville water treatment plant upgrade including ozone and UV.

Vivendi — US Filter. CEC conducted pilot tests in Puerto Rico to assess microbial removal using different filters for water purification.

Corning Separations and Millipore Corp. CEC provided performance testing of filters for removal of Giardia, Cryptosporidium, and other microorganisms.

Camp, Dresser, and McKee, Inc. CEC conducted pilot and bench scale demonstration disinfection studies of unfiltered systems (San Francisco, New York) using a variety of chemical treatments (chlorine, chloramine, chlorine dioxide, and ozone, singly and in combination).

Delaware Engineering. CEC evaluated pilot plant systems for drinking and wastewater treatment in the New York City watershed.

Montgomery Watson Engineers. CEC conducted a series of pilot plant studies in Cincinnati Water Works on various treatment technologies to determine Cryptosporidium and Giardia removal.

Sydney Water Board (Australia). During the Sydney water crisis in the summer of 1998, CEC conducted Cryptosporidium challenge studies in the Prospect prototype water treatment plant operated by Australian Water Services, provided expert advice to the Inquiry, audited the Australian Water Technologies laboratory, and conducted a survey of utilities and regulatory agencies worldwide to ascertain their protozoan monitoring practices and use of the data.
